We’ve heard so much from Aaron Rodgers about himself off the field that we forget that he’s like every other NFL player: When he gets into it with an opponent, he’s going to respond with trash talk or a highlight play.
On Tuesday’s Hard Knocks, we got both. In the New York Jets’ preseason game against the New York Giants, Jihad Ward hit him late and Rodgers protested. Then, the QB hit him with: “I never heard of you” before he threw a touchdown.
Once again, they met up: “Don’t poke the bear. I never heard of you, bro.”
Savage. And what’s even better is Hard Knocks cameras caught Rodgers boasting on the sidelines about it:
Aaron Rodgers had a heated exchange after a late hit 🗣️
“Show some respect bro. I don’t even know who you are.”
…then he threw a TD. 🤷♂️

This is up there with him calling out Randall Cobb and roasting an ex-Packers coach on the show.
